the corner office

I thought you might want to see where I'm working these days. I managed to go from idea board to reality. It's a miracle. 

Yep. That, my friends, is an office on the landing of my stairs. It measures a huge 42" x 42". I started with a nice wall table from IKEA and a file basket from the Container Store. I found shelves at Home Depot, which I painted with white glossy and gold metallic spray paint. The print was a must have. (As I side note, my eldest sent me this pin recently and I may have peed my pants a little.)

I'm still waiting for my chair and my lamp to arrive. And I'm trying to decide on some art above the lower stairs. Vote? It's currently between this piece and this one. What do you think?
