the review: kitchen sink curry

Tonight was a hockey night. Start dinner. Go to the rink. Finish dinner. Go to the rink. I needed something easy and fool-proof. Thank goodness for the grocery store.

I am not above pre-made sauce. You should know that about me by now. One sauce that I use occasionally when I have vegetables just hanging out in my refrigerator and am sick of stir-fry is Maya Kaimal Coconut Curry. It is a simple simmer sauce. Brown a little chicken (or whatever), add some cauliflower, carrot, sweet potato, red pepper, spinach, celery, peas, garbanzo beans…anything you have works. Pour your sauce on and get those kids to practice. It works. Serve with a little rice. Done and done. Can’t get any better than that. Or at least not any faster.
