The review: sweet and sour chicken

It should come as no surprise to those of you that are following along that I am only slightly busy at this time of year. Let’s just say Santa could use a few extra elves.

Anyway, last night, the plan was to make sweet and sour chicken. That totally didn’t happen. Instead, we were picking up two Christmas trees when I got a text from my mom that her tree had fallen and over, water and all, while she was trying to put the lights on. Christmas is serious business. And apparently dangerous.

After tree duty, I chopped up a bunch of veggies, took some pre-baked chicken out of the freezer, and tossed it all together at my mom’s house with Veri Veri Teriyaki. You want a cooking blog? There are hundreds of them. My life looks a bit more like this lately…

And PS? It was darn good stir-fry. There were no complaints.
